1931 Riley 9 Monaco Plus. Another very original Riley. The
chassis and running gear of this car were overhauled several years
ago and are still excellent. Recent engine work has been carried out
including the fitting of new valves, gaskets and water hoses. The
Autovac has also been rebuilt.
The wheels have been stove enamelled and
new Dunlop tyres and tubes fitted, including the spare.
I would say that the body has probably
been re-fabriced many years ago and is as good as any I have seen.
The interior is original and good, with
green leather upholstery.
The car benefits from the rarer manual
gearbox and runs/drives very well indeed.
MOT until August 2008 and complete with
the original registration number.
