1969 Lotus 61
Formula Ford 1600 single seater.
This historic Formula Ford spent its early years racing in Ireland until
acquired and restored by Peter Denty. It was then prepared by Martin
Stretton for Dieter Streve Mullens and subsequently owned and driven for
the last 2 seasons by Alan Hicks.
The car has been campaigned with some success in HSCC historic Formula
Ford events. Recent engine rebuild by Fowler Goodwin Motorsport and new
cylinder head.
In race ready condition chassis number 61/34/FF comes with spare nose,
long range fuel tank and 2 spare sets of wheels and tyres.
It would be a front running car with the right driver and represents a
very affordable entry to historic motor sport.
